The ExactFlat Pro software requires a CodeMeter license for running the nesting software. The CodeMeter license is separate from the ExactFlat Standard licensing system. Each nesting license can be configured as a stand alone license, or as a network license. Both standalone and nesting licenses require physical hardware keys. View the pages below for basics on how to use the CodeMeter licensing system or click here to launch CodeMeter Help.
Standalone Nesting Licenses
A standalone nesting licensing is managed by the CodeMeter Dongle (CmStick) provided with your purchase and simply needs to be plugged in. If the CMStick is working properly, an indicator light will turn on. The drivers should install automatically. If not, the driver can be installed manually. Please visit the CodeMeter Help site for instructions or contact support for help.
Network Nesting Licenses
A network nesting license allows concurrent use of the license based on the number of network licenses purchased. The network capabilities are programed into the CMStick. Please ensure that you have the proper Network CmStick before you attempt to install a network nesting license. The network CmStick must be installed on a server with UDP ports 6001 and 6002 open to the client.
For Network Client Computers: In order to point client machines to the network nesting license, an environment variable must be set. In Windows, go to to System Properties->Advanced. Go to environment variables to set a new system variable:
All of the information needed to install, update and manage your nesting license is provided on the CodeMeter site. Please review the FAQ for questions or contract your ExactFlat Support team for help by sending email to Support@exactflat.com.
