The marker manager allows the details of the markers to be edited. Material dimensions and layrules can be edited, we can create a nest on multiple or odd shape surfaces using bound surface nesting and assign labor actions to the cutting operation for the marker.
Bound and Unbounded Surfaces
Bound surface nesting allows nesting onto multiple surfaces and onto surfaces of irregular dimensions. This is a valuable tool when nesting onto sheet goods of limited length and nesting on remnants.
- Model and Marker Materials
A marker is not required to be match the material that was assigned to pieces in the model. The most common use for this option is when markers for multiple width materials need to be maintained for a single part file.
- Placement Groups
Placement Groups allow the user to define pieces that are compelled to nest adjacent to one another.
